Winter to Spring
The theme is familiar, but remember—no two springs are ever the same sprightly things, no two winters equally formidable. This is an old, old story, told in the sparkling tones of the guzheng, of how frenetic yet graceful death may be, how exuberant yet fragile life often is. Listen to strange tales of battles waged by flowers, of star-crossed lovers, of rain, in music old and new, in songs rekindled and reimagined. Come on a journey into the cold, bitter heart of Winter. Come leap, forged by struggle and sorrow, into the hopeful, glorious arms of Spring.
